SMTP Settings
1. Go to Account » Settings
2. Go to SMTP Configuration Tab
SMTP Configuration
Field | Description |
SMTP Host | Server address as per SMTP provider |
SMTP Username | Name of the user |
SMTP Email | Email address of the user |
SMTP Password | Password of the email address that is being used |
SMTP Port | Port number as per SMTP service provider |
SMTP SSL / TLS | Connection type for port connecting as per SMTP provider |
SMTP Sender Name | Sender name of the alert/mail sent from dashboard |
SMTP Setup using Google (Gmail)
Go to "Setup Google (Gmail)" inside "SMTP Configuration Tab"
Log in to your Google account if you haven't already, or choose your Google account for SMTP to ensure you are logged into your Gmail account
Sign in to Offer18 by clicking "Continue"
Allow Offer18 to send emails on your behalf. (Enable the checkbox if prompted)
The required SMTP credentials will be automatically filled in the SMTP section of Offer18
Define the "SMTP Sender Name"
Go to Submit
Test Email
Users can verify their SMTP setup by sending a test email to ensure the configuration is working correctly.
